Kept my grandson occupied for 20 min straight which is amazing at 13 months. He loves it!
[...]Fallon –
Super fun toy!
[...]Summer Patterson –
I had purchased this item for my nephew’s first birthday, and I wish they had had these when my children were little. He absolutely loved it and played with it the rest of the time I was there. I was a little disappointed at first, because (be warned) it is MUCH smaller than it looks in the photo. That was my fault for not checking the dimensions, but it is really small, so keep that in mind. Overall, though? Fantastic gift for a baby or toddler, they are guaranteed to love it.
[...]rhodes –
This is a great sensory toy for my grandson.
[...]William Curtis –
Love this toy! Both my daughter and I are fans. Keeps her entertained for hours and I like it because she’s learning and working on her gross motor skills. The only thing I was surprised that it was so small but she likes it so I’m happy. Plus the size is good for travel. I will say the lights aren’t that bright though but the kid likes it so that’s a win in my book.
[...]Ashley –
My baby girl loves this toy, it keeps her occupied and engaged.
[...]Siobhan C –
We bought this to distract our inquisitive toddler (20 months) from turning off all the switches in the living room. It’s fast become his favourite toy!! When we first bought what we called his switches, he could only do a few of the basic ones but after a few weeks he can do them all and even put in the lead!
[...]Nicole Thielen –
My kids spent all of their time fighting over this toy and it was a Christmas present. This taught my toddler how to push buttons and twist knobs. My 9-year-old wanted one because it was fun to play with. I would purchase again as it is the perfect car toy, or gift to any fidgety child.

This is a really fun busy board. It’s all light based with different kinds of switches/buttons/etc. It doesn’t make noise except for some of the buttons/switches that click.I saw several versions of this, and I liked this one because it has engraved pictures of lamps that you are turning on and off. The top right key is the on/off button and also lights up a bulb. My favorite feature is the bottom left dial that first turns each light on in the circle and then they each turn on quickly in a circle. I knew my five-year-old son would love this, and he did. He couldn’t wait for me to put the batteries in, which are safely hidden under the “power” logo. This is a good size for a kid to carry around. I thought a kid who is interested in science might think it’s fun to pretend like a scientist with this. It almost reminds me of something from Ghostbusters when it’s all lit up, haha. The construction of it seems good. It’s not too heavy, the wood is smooth, the wood engraving is clear, and everything worked as it should.I’ve actually wanted to get a busy board for my son for a while because he really loves figuring things out, and this busy board was a good choice. I think younger kids would love this too.I do the majority of my shopping on-line and reviews are very important to me when choosing items. I am always honest with my reviews and have been writing them to help others like I’ve been helped.
[...]Jessica Norris –
Quality is great. Goes through Batteries fast.
[...]Buy one for each kid! Literally fight over it they love it so much. Although a dowside is the batteries dont last long.
James Fletcher –
Really engaging, all ages can’t help but play with it
[...]Cynthia –
I bought it for my 1 year old. Battery life okay. I think it should have music on some of the switches. Overall the quality of the lights are pretty good.
[...]Kimberley O’Brien –
Birthday gift for my grandson. It was one his favorites and is great to take in the car.
[...]Mary Tagle –
My niece loooved it!! Highly recommend!
[...]Roze –
My daughter loves it! Educational. Helped her with her hand coordination and understanding how switches and knobs work. She can even put the plug in all by herself. She does have difficulty learning how to put key into keyhole and twisting the knobs but within due time. Only issue is the battery drains fast. It doesn’t last for long. On the plus side, my daughter still plays with it even with the toy off. She likes the clicking sound when she flips switches.Update: My daughter is only 19 months old and already knows how to twist tops off. Turn lights on and off. Turn door door knobs. Unplug and plug things back in. Google says these are all 3+yr old skills. I really like to thank this toy for helping her greatly in learning how to get into trouble, jk. Thank goodness for baby proofing stuff!

[...]Sophie Burns –
My son LOVES this. We just got it today but my son was SO excited. He is at the stage where he loves light switches and buttons so I thought this would be great for him
[...]Andrea Montez –
Keeps my toddler busy! She used it so much, we already had to change the batteries! Learns quick with this!
[...]lilly –
Got this for my niece for Christmas, I haven’t given it to her yet. Seems like it would keep her busy and develop some find motor skills. Good quality, I will say I deducted a star because some of the images aren’t very dark on the board so they’re kind of hard to see. I doubt my niece will notice she’s 1 and will probably throw this on the ground so not really a big deal to me. I also wasn’t expecting the dials to control speed, I was expecting them to light up one by one but this is cool too! I’m sure she’ll love it :)
[...]mayhem –
My toddler absolutely loves it!
[...]Finley Barker –
This toy is perfect for on the go. It will keep your little one occupied during car rides!
[...]Lisa –
This is the best purchase if you have a curious toddler! The lights are nice and bright. The switches are easy to use and the dials worked well.
[...]Robert L Jacks Jr –
This is really interesting to my little great grandson! He knows how to press buttons, but is learning the toggle switches, etc. very good on developing hand and eye coordination.
[...]Lee Ranch –
Love it! Perfect for car rides!
[...]Debbie –
My son loves all the buttons and lights. It’s a nice size and seem to be very durable. This keeps him busy for a long time definitely worth the money

Looking for an excellent travel toy? This Joyreal Montessori busy board wooden toy is a lot of fun for our toddler without being annoying for the family. The board is just the right size for a toddler to hold by themselves and completely filled with tons of switches and dials that energize lights without making any annoying noises. While we have been enjoying the toy at home, we plan on using it on an upcoming long flight. The board toy requires two AAA batteries which are easily installed with a phillips-head screwdriver. The batteries are not included. There are ten different lights on the toy if you include the on/off lock. See photos. The board toy is certainly age appropriate for 18+ month kids. There are not any sharp edges on the board and the “lock” to turn on the device is safely connected to the board.Recommended

Great for toddlers and kids who love exploring, lights, STEM, or all of the above.Great board for exploring cause and effect. A lot of the switches require good fine motor skills and coordination, but it’s good nonetheless.Picked this for my class. Some students will be able to better access than others. States it’s for 18 months+, children at that functioning level will surely need support in working all of the knobs and switches but it’s good practice.
[...]Andy –
I bought this toy for my nephew since he’s at thee age where every switch and light catches his attention around the house. Ever since he got this little gadget no more turning on and off lamps lol.
[...]AbnerKemmer –
My children love this
[...]John B –
Great ! My Granddaughters both love the Busy Board!
[...]Ivie –
I am a 33 year old woman…I have 3 toddlers. I might have been more invested in this busy board. It’s so fun and once I was done messing with it the toddles love it!I appreciate how sturdy it is, the batteries go into the ‘power’ part so it screws in and the kids CANT GET TO THEM!Highly recommend
[...]dia –
Grandchildren love it!
[...]Desiree Rubalcava –
I ordered this for my 2 year old son and thought it would help with his explorative side since he has such busy hands. The package came fast, neatly wrapped and damage free. It does require batteries if you want it to light up but works with. It’s definitely more fun when the lights are on. I used some cheap batteries from the dollar store and toy worked fine. It’s light weight and easy to play with, tons of buttons to push and experiment with. My niece (2 years old) came over and she was glued to the toy for 20 minutes straight. After seeing that, definitely considering gifting this item to her. There were a couple times where I’ve found my teen and husband fidgeting with the toys. Good toy and fun to play with, for kids and adults too.
[...]Stephanie Sadler –
He loved it! Kept him occupied for a long time!
[...]Jennie –
We bought this for our one year old grandson and his party. What a surprise that ALL the adults wanted a turn with it after it was unwrapped! There were two older kids who loved it as well. It’s just the right size for the birthday boy to hold and play with, especially in his car seat. All the switches and lights and the key are ingenious.
[...]Ann –
Perfect size for little hands. The Busy board has a switch , buttons , a plug , key turn , and knob to turn lights on and off . Great way to learn colors and learning the difference between on /off .My only dislike is that an older adult will need to make sure all of the busy board buttons etc are shut off or it will drain the two AA batterie’s but this needs to be accompanied with supervision to help the child learn.
[...]Barb Griego –
Small but perfect size for a toddler. My grandson loves it
[...]Barb –
It’s the perfect size to take along when on the go. It’s built very sturdy, has survived drops onto wooden floor and concrete with some scrapes to the wood but that’s expected. Some of the buttons and switches are more or less difficult to operate for little ones, but they keep trying and are thrilled once they figure it out. Children and adults ranging age 18 months – 37 years in this house are entertained. The colors are bright and especially beautiful in a dark setting.
[...]S Lee –
t is a perfect gift for a smart child. It doesn’t matter if it’s a girl or boy.Very interesting toy with too many functions and features. Very well made with interesting switches and lights. It may defeats the purpose of trying to keep them children away from switches… But it is still interesting. It is indeed very durable. Holding fine with some harsh plays.I just wish the batteries would last longer. AAA is maybe not the best size for this.
[...]sam –
Well made. Lots of fun options in an all-in-one toy.
[...]diana –
Great toy!! Perfect for my little one who always wants to press buttons.
[...]Robb Wildman –
Really well made. The little guy just loves it.
[...]Kmoreno –
My baby loves this! The entire thing is child size where the buttons/switches are great for tiny fingers. It lights up well with no glitches. My daughter is 13mos and is challenged by the different typed of buttons. She is still figuring it out many of the buttons which is great because it keeps her busy! It is not too heavy for her to carry around or put on her lap. She has thrown it around a few times it still works fine. This thing is built to last. I love that the key turns off the whole thing to save battery. I completely recommend this!
[...]milne –
Grandkids love this. Lot of buttons and switches to keep the kids busy for a while

[...]Danielle Cross –
This toy has brought endless joy! My son was given this as a gift and whenever we go out the kids (all ages) want to play with it. I ended up purchasing one as a gift for a friends son. The painted pieces have all healed up and the color of the lights are very vibrant. It’s super easy to use and the value for the money is 🙌🏽. We use it in the car and in restaurants. It’s a quiet attention keeping toy.
[...]Yami –

[...]NicholausHowe –
I purchased the busy board for my 1.5-year-old girl for a 4-hour road trip, and she loved it. My 7- and 5-year-old boys also took their turns playing with it. Its small, but it’s the perfect size for toddler hands

Easy to use! Perfect for older babies, toddlers to learn switches but even older kids enjoy playing around with this! Battery lasts a long time! Very cute! Easy to bring with on trips.
[...]Tyler –
Was a gift for our niece. She loves it. The light that needs to be inserted to turn on gets stuck but still works.
[...]Davila –
They love it. You have to be with them to teach them to see the reaction to a button. I use it with 2-3 year olds and they have poor concentration, but it catches their attention.
[...]darlene –
I like that there is lots of activity for a baby. Our granddaughter really enjoys it.
[...]Madawi AlKadi –

[...]Melissa Wallace –
I bought this to entertain my toddler on an upcoming roadtrip. One light came broken but he likes it so much, I am going to keep it anyway.
[...]Sharan dave.F –
Our 1.5 year old has an obsession with pushing any button he can get his fingers on. This keeps him entertained with constant ability to change speed, intensity, and number of lights on. It allows their curiosity to know no ends and is cute watching him explore new ways to play with it.
[...]Jennifer –
Great to keep littles entertained during church
[...]Purchased this for my 2 year old nephew. Always looking for ‘montessori based’ toys so they can learn while they play. When it arrived, it wasn’t quite as impressive as I thought. It is kind-of small. But, I gifted it anyways and believe it or not, his 4 year old brother loved it!
Angela john –
Our family was going on vacation so I was looking for some things to entertain our busy 2 year old granddaughter especially when we went to dinner. This was exactly as advertised. It shipped quickly. She loves it and honestly so do the adults. My recommendation…buy this! Great value. So fun.
