All elements are removable. And each element has a closure that allows access to the upholstery. This allowed me to readjust the height of the pillow, which was too high for me. Now it’s perfect.
And if the filling is not suitable for an X or Y reason (for example, pilling over time), it is therefore possible to change it.
The fact that the elements are detachable from each other is very practical. It allows you to adjust according to the heat, movements and positions you want. If the pillow is not suitable, it is entirely possible to remove this part and put on a more suitable memory foam pillow, which another integral pregnancy pillow does not allow.
I don’t feel the zippers, which I feared, but in the end it doesn’t bother me at all.
The fact that there is a space between the pillow and the two perpendicular elements allows you to pass the arms and I think it’s really good because it prevents the cushion from pressing and cutting off the circulation.

It would always twist a little at the top from snuggling it so the velco was scratching my side. I also noticed the side of my belly was a little sore some mornings no matter how I adjusted it. I switched to a typical huge pregnancy pillow and though it takes up more room in the bed it is significantly more comfortable and I don’t have the pain on the side of my belly anymore. I also love how it’s sturdy enough to prop you up and you can sit up in it to read, play games, crochet, watch TV, etc. It’s flexible enough to move around and set up so you are comfortable in any position. I’m 5’4″ and it could easily support someone shorter or taller than me. It’s the perfect height to use as a permanent pillow.
I didn’t notice any smell when it arrived and the cover was easy to remove and wash. It takes a little finesse to get it back on but not overly difficult that I dread having to do it.
Overall, ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT worth spending the money on. The value of getting better sleep and waking up with less pain and more rest, is absolutely worth the money.

This pillow is the perfect pregnancy pillow. I tried eight different kinds before settling on this one and it was the best decision I’ve made. The pillow insert is supportive yet soft. The cover is removable so I can always keep it clean. The fabric grips onto wherever you place it, making it very supportive in the back and hips. I found there were so many pillows with too silky a fabric making it slip around and loose support. That is not the case here. I’m a back sleeper, which is a no-no when pregnant.
